Greener Solutions

Got Gas?

(A compression-related condition caused by load shedding and all those expensive takeaways…)

We install GREEN TECHNOLOGY as a major part of our product offering to all our customers. A variety of integrated solutions can be implemented with systems that harness energy directly from natural sources like the sun. The benefits of such a system allow for great cost savings and reduce the world’s carbon footprint.

GAS COOKING HOBS

There are two main surface materials, glass and stainless steel which is used for a gas cooker.

Depending on your cooking needs, budget and style preference, you may opt for either of the material options.

These hobs are usually better at simmering due to the instant and easy-to-control heat as well as the fact that heat is generally spread evenly across the base of the pan when cooking, thus reducing the cooking time.

Many of modern gas hobs now have an ‘optimal’ burner which means that the flame runs vertically rather than horizontally resulting in a flame that can spread to the edge of the pan which greatly reduces energy usage.

GAS GEYSERS

Faster heating means instant hot water as well as a continuous supply.

Because your gas geyser is not reliant on electricity, it will reduce your energy bill significantly.

An electric geyser can account for 40% of your energy bill. Gas geysers are more eco-friendly and will reduce your carbon footprint since water will only be heated when needed.

The lifespan of a gas geyser is about 12 years and if properly maintained even more.

There is no risk of your geyser bursting like with an electric geyser.

Gas geysers are safe and easy to operate with no instant pulse ignition.

Solar Geysers

We can supply and install Direct Solar geysers (stand-alone) and Indirect Solar Geysers (connected to another Geyser)

Solar Panels

The sun is the most abundant source of energy for solar panels to absorb and convert into power. Solar panels transform energy into power in two different ways – photovoltaic, which is power used for electricity, and solar thermal, which is power used for heating.

Solar power translates to clean energy production and you can reduce your carbon footprint significantly by installing a solar power system.
